Is Kapton tape what you're thinking of?

I am trying to connect some button cell batteries to micro LED's. Before I order anything I wanted to know if computer tape, or the tape/plastic often seen inside laptops Would work for securing the button cell over an injection plastic receptacle like on a motherboard. I am trying to save space/money here. Also couldnt find the tape so would like its name or where I can find it? Thank you for your time and happy new year.

Usually these have a latch that also acts as the top battery terminal.
