So I have the g.skill trident z rgb ram and there is one thing I hate about them, the rainbow leds when booting my pc, it turn back to normal when windows 10 is loaded but before that it just stays on rainbow mode. Is there any way to fix this, or is there any ram that allows the user to set the color? I’m running a msi b550 tomahawk mobo btw.

As far as I know, for this model, you have to log into windows before the RGB control software kicks in, so it starts up in rainbow mode as a momentary default state. I have the Trident Z Neo RGB and it does the same thing.

Maybe it's possible to set it to boot together with Windows, like with wallpaper engine, but still it would start out in rainbow mode for the first moments.

To be honest I think it's extremely confusing, I hear people say that gigabyte is able to control the ram rgb, but I also hear people saying it can't. The same thing is with corsair ram, I hear people saying you can't set hardware lighting on the ram, but yet I see people doing it. And for the TridentZ ram I also see people with a Gigabyte Mobo controlling it, but when I had a Gigabyte Mobo I couldn't control it. I need some clear answers.
