need help choosing a good one.

Go to solution Solved by WoodenMarker,

4.2 maybe, something safe and just to get a little bit more power. Gaming, streaming, photoshop stuff like that.

You'll be fine with something like a 212 Evo or 212x.

Hi!

Im going to have an i7 4770k and going to over clock but not extreme and can't choose a cooler.

It stands between Corsair Hydro H60 v2 and CoolerMaster Hyper 412S.

They are at the same price range and don't know which one to take.

Heard that water cooling is best but loud? is it true?

Thanks!

If you could stretch to at least an h80i or Dark Rock Pro 3, then those would be your best bet. Those coolers you chose will get you at most like 4.4 before hitting a wall.

Ryzen 1600@3.8ghz / 16gb 2400mhzASRock B350 ITX / Gigabyte RX 470 4gb / 256gb M.2 / SG13B-Q / Corsair 450w

Don't go low end water cooling its not worth your money, you'll get better results with medium end air cooling instead of a H60.

Water cooling is usually quiet, but the h60 isn't enough for an OC'd 4770k, save up more and get something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835709011 or this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608024

How high of an oc are you doing for? What's the system being used for?
