hello, I recently got an egpu. When I plugged it in, everything was going smoothly until it was time to open nvidia control pannel. apparenly, after installing rtx 2060 super drivers, windows uninstalled the drivers for my inbuilt 1660 ti drivers. how do I not have that happen and have both nvidia drivers at once?

We're talking laptop, right? And you're referring to an external GPU enclosure, right?

Unless eGPUs behave differently (which I doubt) you should only need one Nvidia driver installed. There is no "2060 driver" or "1660 Ti driver". The latest driver version will support any/all cards back to something like the GT4xx series.

Perhaps when you connect the eGPU the internal GPU gets disabled. Is that what's going on?

Be sure to QUOTE or TAG me in your reply so I see it!
