Throttlestop not applying my undervolt

I have a i5 10300H on my laptop and everytime i try to undervolt it doesnt put any offset on throttlestop itself and hwmonitor . I haven't tried Intel XTU or checked my BIOS yet

 

I tried putting CPU Core and CPU Cache to the same undervolt but it still doesnt work.

Look at the top of the FIVR window. FIVR Control - Locked. The BIOS you are using has disabled CPU voltage control.

When this lock bit is set, the turbo ratio limits are also locked and disabled so you cannot use these to control your CPU speed.

 

 

The latest version better supports the 10th Gen CPUs but only a modified BIOS can unlock CPU voltage control.

Can I use a modified BIOS on my laptop? Or is it just a setting?

What laptop model do you have? Many MSI laptops allow users to enable CPU voltage control in the BIOS on their 10th Gen laptops.

 

For Dell laptops, some have been able edit a couple of UEFI variables to unlock this feature.

I have an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55

I did found newer BIOS versions in Acer's website, should I update?

Your laptop has already blocked CPU voltage control. A BIOS update might unlock this feature but probably not.

I did update and no it did not unlock it
