Render Server FOSS Software

Hi,

I want to setup a Render Server like Linus did. Since I like FOSS I'm looking for a software which allows me to render video files remotely. Shotcut, Kdenlive or Openshut seem to not support remote/network rendering. Okay, I could RDP into the server and open the file on a NAS, but it is quite time consuming to do it every time. What would you recommend?
