So, recently, I got myself a dual-monitor setup, with one being on HDMI and one being on a displayport->HDMI cable. the issue is that the cable doesn't work properly. when I start up my PC, I get all the options to go into BIOS, then the windows loading screen (both on the monitor hooked up to disaplayport) and then the monitor goes into sleep mode, and only my full HDMI monitor actually displays video. I tried changing to Preformance in the NVIDIA control panel, I tried swapping the cables around, and neither worked. Anyone know what to do?

also, I'm using the latest drivers from NVIDIA on a GTX 1660 Super

maybe you got bad cables or bad displayport-hdmi converters.

We had this issue on our office where most of us working with 2 or even 3 monitors. When we got new pc stations, the 2nd monitor wasnt working correctly. After a research we found that that the cables which came with the workstations wasnt compativle (Lenovo workstations).

We bought new displayports cables to all of our workstations and problem solved.

if it were a bad cable, it wouldn't work at all. For me, it works when I'm in BIOS, or booting into windows, then stops once windows is booted
