If you want an aio, get something else, cooler master ML series is cheap but also quite bad

I personally prefer air cooler

If you're not overclocking, consider using stock cooler first, see how that goes for you before spending money on a cooler unnecessarily

650W should be sufficient but I would look at 750W PSU nowadays, especially if you want to stick on the mid-high end of hardwares

Rest of the build looks okay, though I'm not sure if you'll want b550 board, but b450 is also good enough, for today

What is a good air cooler?

Nh-d15 or dark rock (pro) 4 are some of the best, though you'll have to check your casing's CPU cooler height clearance and compare it with those cooler's height before you purchase one

Kind of overkill don't you think. I was thinking along the lines of a U12S.

I will recommend an NHu12s (or an NHd15 (maybe)) for your PC build. Quote or @ me @Prodigy_Smit for me to see your replies.

Yea but it's either these or the stock cooler in my mind, anything in between is kind of a waste of time/money

Unless you don't have a stock cooler, which isn't the case here

Well i havent bought nothing yet so i guess i can just change the case cause its cpu cooler height max is 162mm and the noctua nh-d15 is 165mm

I honestly think you should use the stock cooler first and see if it's sufficient

A Dark rock pro 4, 163mm, fits in a rajjntek metis, 160mm, with room to spare

I've worked with cases that absolutely doesn't lie, I managed to squeeze a cooler 1mm below the limit in because the side panel had a bump on the acrylic and it's touching that

CPU socket height is also slightly different too, would think AM4 cpu sits higher than lga ones
