Thermal compound

Hi,

 

so I bought this “industrial” thermal compound off of someone local, he claimed that it’s way better than any other thermal compound I could but the rating is 0.90 W/m.K. I have no idea what that means but I saw 2 separate posts about thermal paste one saying that a lower W/m.k is better but the other post said it’s not good to have a low W/m.k. So now I don’t know if I should use the stock paste that comes with my cpu or try this one out..

that metric is called Watts per Meter Kelvin.. in general, higher is better. 0.9 is extremely low and will not be sufficient to conduct heat properly most likely for modern CPU and GPUs.

That shit is 0.90 W/mK while TG Kryonaut is 12,5 W/mk(higher number is better)
