My streaming rig occasionally does not fully post.

Flipping off then on the PSU resolves the issue and it posts just fine...aside from this the PC operates just fine. Sometimes following a sleep cycle, it fails to "awake" and I have to shut it down, cycle the PSU and it boots just fine.

Thoughts?

We need some more info. What are the specs of the PC? Do you have anything overclocked? Is this new system, or is it an older system that used to work, but suddenly doesn't any more.

Sorry, I always forget to layout the specs.

This is a recent streaming rig build with the following components:

Mobo: ROG STRIX B450-F

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600x

GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1650 OC

PSU: EVGA Supernova 550 GA 550W 80 PLUS GOLD

RAM: G. SKILL Ripjaws V 16GB 3600 DDR4

SSD: Crucial P2 500GB M.2

No overclocking; running with XMP enabled, but nothing else modified.

First things first, update your BIOS if you haven't already. Otherwise, if you have XMP on currently on, disable it. This most likely will resolve your issue, as the intermittent POST, especially if it is from cold boot, generally indicates that the system isn't able to train the memory.  Also check on the manufacturer's website, whether that memory is in the QVL for that board. Early B450 boards do tend to have issues running memory at higher speeds.

Huge help, I will give this a try and see if it resolves.
