I build I was recently working on (ROG x570-i MoBo with 3700x) won't boot and sends back the VGA error light with and without the GPU plugged in, no matter the monitor or display port I use. I do have a SSD from his previous build in there as a boot drive (which i think needs to be wiped), but shouldn't I at least be able to get into the BIOS with that?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

I put it in another system, but the cabling was a little funky and we still got no output. It’s a zotac card which came with two* dual six pin to single eight pin adapters. I didn’t use those in the original system, but instead used two separate eight pin cables (that would be fine right??), but in the second system, where we tested the GPU, I daisy-chained the two gpu plugs off of one eight pin cable.
