I am looking for a decent mobo for Ryzen 5 3600. I have watched Hardware Unboxed video and decided to go for MSI B550 boards but here in India Gaming edge cost me 230USD & Gaming plus cost me 198USD. Some threads are clearly not recommending gaming plus so i want to know whats the disadvantages are there.

I also checked the Gigabyte B550 Aorus pro which is around 224USD.

Need help. kindly suggest me a budget friendly one. Thank you & Happy New Year everyone in advance.

Well if you need a budget friendly board, you also have B450 options available as well. Asus, AsRock and Gigabyte (probably MSI as well) all support Ryzen 5000 series chips, so you still have upgrade path later

hmm B450 still a good option for me but isn't B550 also gonna support future ryzen maybe lets say for example 6000 series? thats the reason i dont wanna huge invest in mobo but also dont wanna buy a cheap one.

Next Gen Ryzen will likely be on DDR5 motherboards and a completely new socket. At least so the rumors say...
