Hello everyone! I have a big problem since im a pretty big gamer. I have had an issue for around 2 years straight now which is really unsatisfying i have a problem where my mouse in game feels really delayed and not snappy atall. It feels like the game itself is smooth but at the same time the movement doesnt feel smooth atall. When im dragging my mouse around it feels like the mouse is going a bit to far, from where i want my cursor to go.

Specs:

Changed from gtx 1050 to 1650super, still no luck.

cpu: i3 9100f

Motherboard: h310-c

Would be awesome to get an answer, Thanks... :)

@Stahlmann Hello! :) I have no accelerations going on. It feels like it almost has some smoothing feel to it even though i dont have smoothing on. It happens in every game.

Are you using a mouse pad or just the desk? Some mice can be calibrated to different surfaces in their driver software. I remember this from a Corsair mouse i had in the past.

@Stahlmann I have tried 3 different mouse pads :)

Do you play at consistent or at heavily fluctuating fps? Locking your FPS to a value that you know your PC can hold might help.

@Stahlmann Hello again :) I play csgo with around 200-300 fps. My monitor is BENQ XL2411P,  144hz.

CS:GO has an option for "Raw mouse input". Did you enable this?

Just to clarify, it's on by default by windows, it's best to double check that it's off

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

I've had the very rare issue in the past where my game was running at 144Hz, but my mouse was still locked to 60Hz for some reason. Just tabbing out and back into the game has fixed it for me. But recently i didn't have this issue.

Otherwise i'm at a loss, maybe someone else can help you further. Good luck!

@Stahlmann Sadly it doesn't work for me that way. but it kind of feels like the mouse is locked at 60hz but the cursor still goes a bit more far from where i'm aiming which is really weird.

One last thought: Enable the "Ultra low latency mode" in the NVIDIA driver settings. Maybe this will help.

@Stahlmann I have actually tried that, no luck :(

Did you try if the issue is the same when playing in borderless windowed or fullscreen mode?
