First Ryzen Build

Go to solution Solved by Coolmaster,

Looks good. See if you can get a 1650 Super, it is usually only a little more and quiet a bit faster. Maybe get a better powersupply, check the tier list, I'd recommend something at least C tier https://linustechtips.com/topic/1116640-psucultists-psu-tier-list/. An upgrade later on that I'd recommend is to get 16GB of RAM, it'll be helpful for CAD.

Hi guys I'm just new at building PCs are this part good enough for some mid level gaming and some autocad

Parts:

CPU - AMD RYZEN 5 3500

MoBo - ASUS TUF GAMING A520M-PLUS

GPU - ZOTAC GTX 1650 OC 4GB

RAM - GSKILL RIPJAWS V 8GB DUAL DDR4 3200MHZ

PSU - DEEPCOOL DA600W 80PLUS BRONZE

Thank you for replying I'm just worried a520 chipsets are budget friendly will the VRM temps be an issue?

also thanks for the PSU tier list will be checking on that.

I'm actually planning to buy them in Dynaquest Makati. PHP30k is the max budget I have.

I see. Try to look in different shops. Some sells components rather cheaper than the other. I think i saw dynaquest selling the 3500x for about 6or 8 thousand pesos. Also, i think its better to get a b450 instead it could be cheaper plus it suppprts overclocking

That motherboard is fine for the CPU you have with it.

Isn't X series made for overclocking but a520 isn't a board for overclocking

You can't overclock on a A-series board, but the board you picked is fine for running a 3500 at stock. You can overclock on a B or X series board, currently X series boards only really have better I/O and more PCIe gen 4 lanes. The quality of the board makes more of a difference than what chipset it has, unless you need a specific feature.
