Budget (including currency): 2000-2500€

Country: sweden

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 4K gaming

Other details: I’m in no hurry to the build, will buy parts as they be available etc. for starters the theme is arctic, really like that cold icey look. The case I have al rdy decided, it’s gonna be a lian-li 011 (dynamic or xl, white ofc)

what I want here is a help whit a nice arctic build in a Lian li 011 case :) I can compromise on performance a little to get the right look!

hope I did right and if i missed something plz just ask, first post ever lol :)

Edit: now i have a 6-8y old computer with a HD Radeon 7970, and an old AMD 8 core CPU, the motherboard don’t support newer  CPU, shame since it’s a ROG board, anyways can update my current puter specs later! Writing from phone :)

With arctic you mean all white or a white with a bit of black system? As all white is gonna impact the performance a fair bit even on that budget due to the big premium. That and a fair few parts are just not available in full white. So yeah a full white white system is gonna be next to impossible with modern parts especially the motherboard as they have stopped making full white boards in recent years.

Thanks this look rly good ! Even found every Pice on Swedish website at decent price. Clocked in around 2500$. Ofc before someone comets some of the parts was not in to order, but that’s ok since I recon it will take 2-4 months before I have everything I need, will “sprinkle” my buy ups :)

I mean all white, almost so it looks little icey kindof, I don’t mind if some sacrifices is done to keep the theme of the build, but not to much. I’m also rdy to do sacrifices on the other end eg break the theme, but then it has to be a good reson :) thanks for your answer !

on an other note.

My current specs are

AMD-FX 8320 eight-core

HD Radeon 7970

Crosshair V formula-z

16gb of Kingston DDR3 Ram(2x8gb)

so it’s time for an upgrade (bought this setup when the hd7970 was fairly new on the market) oh the CPU is watercooled on a custom loop with a 280mm rad :)

White white sadly isn't really going to happen due to there simply not being a fully white motherboard anymore for modern specs. I give you a build here that is pretty close but do keep in mind gpu and cpu prices are inflated and stock is almost non existent so don't buy anything for a good couple months till prices normalize again.

Prices will differ. It doesn't really get whiter than this. Warning tho the H100I rgb is not the best cooler especially for the money and it is also very overpriced right now it seems as it's only supposed to be 150 max. It does get easily beaten by 50-60$ aircoolers but there doesn't seem to be any decent white air coolers in stock right now

The 5800x is also overpriced and should not be that much. If amd releases a 5700 get that instead.

Psu doesn't matter as it cannot be seen in the O11 anyways you will want to get some custom white cables made for the psu.

Thanks for the list!

as for the rad I plan to mount it on the back space with the fan’s, in the case so they will be in front of the rad, maybe do some trickery and just use white rgb/no rgb fans ?
planned to buy some rgb fans to put in the bottom and top, but that I can figure out myself :)!

suppose I do the trickery I said, what aio would u recommend, also keep in mind I’ve built a custom loop before so that is also an option, don’t have to be AIO :)

Thanks again for the tips and replies :)!

edit: what about

or

Well considering the h100i platinum comes pretty close to the price of a cheap diy loop might as well that case it built for it. Just use white tubing and possibly a white rad (or just spray paint it white).

Also you can't mount a aio in the back of the system. So it will have to be on top as the side would be too far and the tubes would not reach that far down.
