Fairly new build, only a couple months old...

AMD R7 3700X

MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI

Gigabyte RTX 2080 SUPER GAMING OC 8G

(Just listing what I think are the relevant specs to my issue for now)

Very occasionally...   when booting up the computer, it won't post.

The "EX Debug" LEDs on the motherboard indicate a "VGA" issue...

I long press power to shut it down and usually the second try it posts fine. This morning however it didn't post twice in a row. Third try was fine though.

Drivers are up to date. Mobo BIOS is up to date.

The only lead I can think of...    is the GPU has two 8 pin PCIE power connectors and it's only plugged into one power cable with the two daisy chained connectors. Could it be a power issue at startup causing it not to post?

I believe I can get another power cable and hook it up to not use the daisy chained, second connector. Just thought I'd also get some input from the interwebs as well.

Thanks all!
