Hey,

about one week ago, my network speed began to drop (to about 1.5 Mbit/s) after waking up my computer from sleep.

I am using Kubuntu 20.04 LTS. When I try to do the same using Windows (ignoring that Windows wakes up itself after 5 minutes of sleep), the issue does not appear. I've talked to a friend who mainly uses Windows and he told me that his computer has this issue as well, but it happens just while using the computer.

My attempts to fix the problem were replugging the Ethernet cable, reestablishing the connection in the settings, logging off and on again and rebooting. The last one was the only fix for the issue.

I can make sure that it has to be my computer, because every other device in the network keeps working perfectly. According to my router, my powerline adapter is linked with about 350 Mbit/s (enough to reach my full internet speed).

Now, I'm asking if there is anyone who knows more about how to fix my problem.
