HELP!!! My systems CRASHING!!!

Go to solution Solved by RONOTHAN##,

I'm of the mindset that your memory OC is probably unstable thanks the Threadripper 1's weak memory controller. You're usually lucky to hit 3200MHz on those chips, let alone 3600, so that's more than likely your issue, unless it still happens at 2133MHz

Hi, I just build my new computer. I installed windows 10. Sometimes in windows my screen freezes and I have to push the power button to turn it off. After the screen freezing when i go to turn it on it says windows is unable to boot. But then i hit restart and it boots. Sometimes when I run ryzen master I get a d3 error code and my system restarts. I do not get a blue screen. I have not updated my BIOS because it says im already on the latest bios. I have only done one overclock, on the ram. Im running the ram at 3600mhz at 1.39v. My CPU is at about 67c at 50% usage. (I never go over 50% usage). How can I fix these issues of the d3 error and the screen freezing?

My System

CPU: AMD Threadripper 1900x

CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U9 TR4-SP3

Motherboard: Gigabyte X399 Aorus Pro (Rev 1.0)

Memory: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 3600mhz 16-19-19-39 (4 sticks, 64gb total)

Storage: Samsung 970 Evo 500gb (I have 2 in this system, total of 1TB)

GPU: MSI Ventus 3x OC 3070 (Studio Driver)

PSU: Corsair RM850X

Case: Lian Li pc-o11 Dynamic

Fans: I have 6 fans. 3 Intakes and 3 outtakes.

Software: Windows 10 Pro

First time building a system and I am a little nervous about this so any help is much appreciated.

considdering that your psu is 550 watt, i suggest either upgrading the psu, or turning off overclock.

also, if turning it off doesnt help, your psu is not powerful enough for your system

rtx 30 series needs at least 600 watts to run properly

I have a 850 watt PSU

I will try 3200mhz, right now im trying 2133mhz. IF it stable i will try to increase the speed.

Out of curiosity, I only get the d3 error when I open Ryzen Master. So is there something wrong with Ryzen Master?

Your install might be screwed up, but I've also had isssues with Ryzen Master just not applying anything. It's a little buggy to a lot buggy
