Good Morning Everyone,

I hope you all had a great holiday, I sure as hell did.
My in laws decided to just write me a checks this year for X-Mas, so now instead of paying down my credit card debt I am upgrading my rig.

Budget:
     $800 US

Country:
     USA

System use:
3D Design (Blender/Fusion 360), Steaming (Twitch/Discord), and Gaming (Cyberpunk, Modded Minecraft, Baldur's Gate 3, anything else new and fun)

I have been a 1080p 60pfs gamer for a long time but I think it is time to make the jump to 1080p 144fps.
I am doing a near full system rebuild, the only 3 things that are staying are the power supply, graphics card, CPU Cooler, case, and peripherals.
I just replaced added these to my build in the last 2 years so, no need to replace them.

MSI 1070 TIEVGA 650 BQNZXT S340 BlackHYPER 212 EVO

So on to what I need.

CPU:

I am thinking of getting into AMD. I have been an intel guy since i started building systems but the AMD Ryzen 5 3600X has caught my eye.

I would like to have the option to upgrade, to a 5000 chip in the future but we will see.

Motherboard:

I don't have any real opinion here besides color, I would prefer something black.
Besides that, I have zero intention of adding anything else to the PCIE slots and i am not overclocking.
So something cheap will do just fine.

RAM:

Based on my use case, I am looking at 16gb, i doubt I need anything more, but the option to upgrade in the future is not out of the question.

Storage:

I do not want to mess with any raid or multiple drives.
The only thing that gets stored on my current system is games, all the design work I do is saved in the cloud, and I do not save video or pics on my system either.

So I think a 1tb M.2 would be my best best, So i can keep all the games I want to play ready to go without any issue.

Monitor:

This is where I have the least experience, I have always bought the cheapest thing I could find.
Now that i want to dive into 144hz though, I know I have to shell out a little more money.
I still want to stick to HD as 4k seems a bit much at the moment.

I intend to try and buy everything from Microcenter, since I have one a few miles away here in STL and love the option to bring in parts that are DOA.

Let me know if I missed anything but that should cover the basics of what I am looking for.

Thanks for the help everyone!

No point in getting the 3600x unless it's the same price or like max $10 more than the 3600
