So recently my PC has started to lag in various games. For example, when I play CSGO, the fps run smoothly, but then they start to drop to 0 for a few seconds and then come back to normal. This is especially bad when a new game starts. Today, when I was playing, I got a blue screen When I used a program to see what was the cause it stated this: "This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe" "Error: UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION" I have a GTX 970, a 4th gen core i5 and 8gb of ram, so my pc should have no problem running a game like CSGO

This issue had been going on before, but then it stopped. I thought I had fixed it and now its back

ntoskrnl.exe doesn't really narrow it down. its windows management handles everything from memory to temperature related issues.

you could research how to obtain your crash and dump logs then post screen shots, that could help pinpoint the issue. secondly you could make sure everything is up to date and or any resent driver updates are reversed, and finally you should check temperatures. make sure nothing is overheating. and or dying ram or gpu can cause similar issues.

Gaming PC: • AMD Ryzen 7 3900x • 16gb Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3200mhz • Founders Edition 2080ti • 2x Crucial 1tb nvme ssd • NZXT H1• Logitech G915TKL • Logitech G Pro • Asus ROG XG32VQ • SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless

Laptop: MacBook Pro M1 512gb

On Fri 12/25/2020 4:57:49 PM your computer crashed or a problem was reported
crash dump file: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\122520-37578-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x1C3B20)
Bugcheck code: 0x154 (0xFFFFCB093D23B000, 0xFFFFFE0F1C924000, 0x2, 0x0)
Error: UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION
file path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
company: Microsoft Corporation
description: NT Kernel & System
Bug check description: This indicates that the store component caught an unexpected exception.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

I'll try checking the temps and the logs as you said
