Occasionally, my pc will shut off randomly without an warning or any reason for warranting it. Usually it happens while it’s idling, but occasionally when I’m using it to download things or playing games. When it shuts off, I can’t turn it back on through the regular method of just pressing the power button, I actually have to turn it off at the power supply, wait 20 seconds then try again. I have looked online, and it says that it could be that the power supply’s fan isn’t working, but my psu fan is working as it should. My psu is an EVGA 600GD 80+ Gold (600w). This is an incredibly infuriating thing, and please help if you know how to diagnose the problem and provide a solution.

thanks

Try going into Power settings on Windows and setting it so that it never shuts off or goes to sleep, other than that I'm not sure what could cause it

the new Ryzen 5000 are not stable because the bios versions are still in beta's, i had similar issues with a 5800x.

look if you got a bios update for your mobo https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/X570 Phantom Gaming 4 WiFi ax/index.asp#BIOS

there's one from 2 weeks ago
