Just finished building my first PC and couldnt determine where i should put my AIO fans, I have watched many LLT videos where they put them up on top and the radiator, I decided to use as exhaust fans but put them under the AIO, the idea is that there is more surface area for the fans to suck in air but is this right, does it matter. any ideas.

It doesn't matter. It likely looks best like this as you can see the fans RBG, but putting them above the rad makes it A LOT easier to clean the dust that will eventually build up on the rad fins. In this orientation, you have to remove the fans to clean the dust, if the fans are on top you can just vacuum/clean the dust off.
