New build post with high cpu temps

Go to solution Solved by Jonre,

Solved.
The AIO was fault.
replaced it from the seller. And all works fine.

I just build new pc

5900

asus E MOBO

ASUS roji 360 AIO

asus Thor 850

and old GPU 770 maybe

I flash BIOS to latest (3001 I think)

pc post with warning cpu temp too high press F1 for details. And I see temp 90-100+ and the pc shut down.

I removed the AIO plastic. Changed to AMD on pump bracket and use the ASUS backplate with AIO spacer and thumb screws.
the AIO is plugged to sata from psu.
to cpu fan (change to AIO as well)

and usb on MOBO bottom.
The AIO screen is working fans as well.

can really use some help.
thanks !

Unfortunately you can't really check the mount without taking the cooler off...

I would get some extra thermal paste first before starting.

But basically you take off the cooler and look at the thermal compound between the cpu and cooler and make sure that it is squashed flat and even over the whole surface.

Wipe off the used thermal compound and replace it with new thermal compound and install it again...

(I would recommend typing in something along the lines of "cpu cooler mounting" into the you YouTube search bar and watching several videos about it first, if you are unfamiliar with this process)

why the pump not working

That’s why I think the AIO is the problem

Oh ok, I didn't catch that... I've never had an AIO before...

Can you tell if the pump is making noise? Does it sound like it is on?

Do you have the stock cooler you can put on it to check that the CPU works fine and doesn't over heat with a working cooler?

Are there other ports you can plug the AIO into? (I believe you can plug the pump into a normal fan header)

Is it just the pump that is not turning on? Or is there other fans that are plugged into the MoBo that are reading '0 rpm'?

I’m don’t know how to be sure, but it doesn’t seem to work. The pump that is. But the RGB is fine /:

no other cooler to try on :(

and no thermal past or I’d try take off any way. Will buy if it will be needed.
I tried to connect to cpu fan or pump but same thing.

I have 3 aio fans spinning. And 5 more fans (connected to MOBO) all spinning but not sure where I can see the read - got only bios cuz I must shot down after few sec or I get cpu over 100 deg.  @Wishiwasdead
