M2_2 is shown on bios, but can't be seen in Windows?

You'll have to assign a drive letter in the Windows disk management.

Right click your Windows start button, select the disk-management and right click the drive to assign a drive letter.

Have just installed a 1tb m2 ssd. To be specific it's the WD Blue SN550 NVMe SSD - 1TB

My Motherboard is: MSI MPG B550I GAMING EDGE WIFI - AMD B550

I can see the drive in the bios, but it isn't shown as a drive on Windows. What could be the culprit?

Did you initialize the drive?

Go to "Create and format hard disk partitions" in windows and see if it shows up there.
