Please help me decide

Hi LTT Community,

 

I've been struggling to make some choices for my new PC build which is incoming. I'm getting a 3080 as soon as it's in stock, but i can't figure out the pro's & con's for the processor.
I know it should be plane simple: gaming = 5600X right now, as it's available as well in my country. However, because the stock problems, it currently costs me 439 euros, which is the same as a intel i9-10850k is. (10cores/20threads). So if any of you would be so kind to give their opninion on this? Everything tells me it's AMD, but that's at a 330 euro price tag for the 5600X, and 440 just doesn't seem right to me. I will be primarily gaming on my PC, but also developing and coding.

 

Some reference prices:

5600X = 439 euros

5800X = 509 euros

i9-10850K = 439 euros

i7-10700K = 369 euros

if you want higher FPS in your game then Go for 5600x

otherwise if you are video editing or encoding then go for Intel
