Keyboard Shortcuts not Working

Hi All,

 

When playing games, sometimes, shortcuts stop working. Examples include Alt+Tab and Pause/Play music key.

 

Each time, I noticed that Windows Explorer has siezed up, such as not being able to interact with W10 search bar or pinned programs. I restart it and it is immediately fixed.

 

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

possibly out of date or corrupt driver and/or software for your keyboard. If it is while playing games only, you could try running the game in WINDOWED full screen mode so the game does not interrupt your keyboard software as much. might need a new keyboard if its older (5+years)

That was my first thought. It is a Corsair K55 and drivers are up to date. It doesn't do it on other computers.

Icue software could be the problem but I don't see how if it works on other PC's with the software as well... unless the other PCs don't have the software.
