Upgrading iPhone

Hello , so i currently own an iPhone 8 Plus which has lasted me a pretty long time and it is now time to change. I am currently debating on the iPhone 12 (non Pro) and the 11 Pro Max. I am more interested in the iPhone 12 since i would be getting more years of support instead of the 11 Pro (its a theory). But i can see that the 11 Pro Max has somewhat more advantages that the 12 since i would be getting a bigger screen and more battery. The 5G support for me is kind of obsolete since my country is not going to implement this any time soon , although it would be a nice feature to have.

I would prefer 11 Pro Max over iPhone 12 however AnTuTu benchmark is better for iPhone 12.

If it were me, iPhone 12. Unless you absolutely crave the bigger screen or a telephoto camera, the 12 is more future-proof (never mind 5G, think MagSafe and tech the A14 brings) and will technically have a larger screen than your 8 Plus.  The 11 Pro Max is a fine phone — it's just a tougher sell.
