You can make a pretty decent machine with that money, especially if you only want 2k Rez.  Video card determines monitor and PSU sizes and video cards are a horrible snarl right now so what I did is choose somewhat minimal but still effective options. And left $500-1000AUS to get a monitor, video card, and PSU with.  It would be hard to cut more than $150AUS out of this without taking a serious performance hit.

It is the cheapest one with wifi.  Wasn’t expecting it to be good.
