NVME Problem ?

Hello guys recently i add nvme to my system when i copy some file it goes up to 600bytes/s then sometimes drop to 0 then go again fast and stop for a while again is that normal ?

No, that's not normal transfer speeds for an NVMe drive.

 

What are you copying the files from? A USB flash drive? HDD? Downloading from the internet? The transfer speed will be limited by whatever it is reading the files from.

i move 30gb from D partition to C its only from the nvme itself but i do transfer from nvme to flash drive and again drop to 0 sometimes then go up is that normal...

is it becaouse i dont copy the file i cut it from one partition to another ?

Are you copying a single file, or a folder with a large number of tiny files?

I think i get you it was folder with files so its normal in that case ?

When you're copying lots of small files, it's pretty common for it to get slowed down by allocating each file individually, so yes, normal in that case.
