De-Lid my CPU

Just tried this on a 3570K that's been in my system for a few months.

IHS just refuses to move.

I'm going to buy some razors tomorrow and try and get it off.

I think pressure and heat curing over time have created a stronger bond or something.

It really will not move and the IHS now has signs of stress around the edges.

Was putting 1mm+ deep dents into pine. Not good and I won't be 100% surprised if the CPU is dead. :-/

start with a razor and than go with something *soft*
