This might be a noob question but what exactly is the ring ratio?

Is it worth it to increase it?

And if so what would be a "good" ratio and what voltage should I increase when necessary?

i7 10700k (5.0 GHz all Core, 1.28V VCore)

MSI MPG Z490 Gaming Plus

Cache ratio (clock), basically.

If you can't push your core multiplier any higher, you could try increasing the ring ratio instead.

Yes will improve performance.

Requires extra vcore sometimes depending on the frequency.

I would keep the Ring ratio 3 points under your all core clock. 

So if you're going for 5GHz lets say, all core would be 50 and ring ratio would be 47
