yes, i believe it is leaking due to the pressure buildup inside your AIO that didn't receive proper cooling and the water are just near boiling

replace it asap, if you want something simple, an air cooler will do

After wondering why my pc was feeling very sluggish while gaming my friend asked me to show him my temperatures and I noticed that it was maxed out at 100 degrees.
It turns out the cooler for my cpu didn't have a fan installed.
I recently went out to buy one and while it seems to helped a bit my cpu is still struggling to stay cooler
The image i've attached is my current idle status, I've had my pc running for maybe 15-20 mins without any games or other intensive programs running.

What can I do to fix this?
The program being using is speccy if anyone knows a more reliable program i'd love to know.

I have a i7 8700k on a AORUS Ultra. I keep it cool with a be quite Dark Rock Pro 4.

For water cooling I would not use less than a 280mm AIO for overclocking and a 240mm for stock.

This is currently how the cooler is installed, i searched up the fans you mentioned, would i be able to fit them here?

Someone reccomendes a 280mm in an above comment. Ive posted a picture of the side of my case. Would it be able to fit there?

from your photos, i cant tell

280 normally goes on top or in the front

but you'll have to check the case's product page for confirmation if it supports it

Your cooler looks like it is a 120mm(single fan) AIO. An i7 8700k need a more cooling.

240mm and 280mm have 2 fans.

Here is what a 240mm looks like. https://www.newegg.com/corsair-icue-h100i-rgb-pro-xt-liquid-cooling-system/p/N82E16835181190

It would either have to go at the top of the case or in the front of the case.

This is what I use on my i7 8700k. https://www.newegg.com/be-quiet-dark-rock-pro-4-bk022/p/13C-001F-00027?Description=be quite dark rock pro 4&cm_re=be_quite dark rock pro 4-_-9SIA68V6YA3005-_-Product&quicklink=true
