But won’t that destroy the installation drivers on the usb?

The usb it’s store bought by the way.

That's your problem, the installation files are probably a good few years out of date.

Create a fresh USB using the Media Creation Tool and try again.

So I recently built a new pc and now I’m trying to do a fresh install of Windows 10 from a usb stick on it.

The only problem is that it won’t work.

I constantly get this screen trying to boot from it and I don’t know what to do.

Please help

Do you have another PC on hand? It sounds like something went wrong with the Media Creation Tool. Format the USB and try again.

Main PC:

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X • Noctua NH-D15 • MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk • 2x8GB G.skill Trident Z Neo 3600MHz CL16 • MSI VENTUS 3X GeForce RTX 3070 OC • Samsung 970 Evo 1TB • Samsung 860 Evo 1TB • Cosair iCUE 465X RGB • Corsair RMx 750W (White)

Peripherals/Other:

ASUS VG27AQ • G PRO K/DA • G502 Hero K/DA • G733 K/DA • G840 K/DA • Oculus Quest 2 • Nintendo Switch (Rev. 2)

Laptop (Dell XPS 13):

Intel Core i7-1195G7 • Intel Iris Xe Graphics • 16GB LPDDR4x 4267MHz • 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD • 13.4" OLED 3.5K InfinityEdge Display (3456x2160, 400nit, touch).

You have to completely remake the bootable USB stick.

How do I accomplish this?

Then download the Windows Media Creation Tool from Microsoft's website, plug in your failing Windows USB, and remake it.

Won't work, store bought USB installers are locked to write read only, you cannot format them at all.

Yes

You'll need an 8GB minimum USB drive to create the installer on.

I missed that.

If you can't remove its read-only properties via diskpart, then exchange it.

What about diskpart?

You can remove read-only properties from there.

Its locked in the controller firmware, you cannot bypass it.

You bought the key which is still good, the USB is just a free and totally worthless bonus. Its kind of expected that users will create their own.
