Wi-Fi Instability

Hello,

When I use my computer 99% of the time the Wi-Fi works fine, but sometimes I will go back onto my pc a few hours after I last used it and the Wi-Fi will stop working. This has happened 3 times in the last 6 months. I don't think it is the PCIE Wi-Fi card because I tried a USB one that I know works and it still wont show any networks. Does anyone know what is happening here?
