front audio software issue

I had tried to fix my microphone so people could hear me and i started messing around in settings and finally gave up. but when I pluged my headphone cable in to front audio it no longer works, now i can only use back io for audio i think it might be drivers since windows changed my output name. any way to fix would be appreciated

Have you verified that HD Audio is securely connected to the header on your motherboard?
