from a Raspberry Pi 4 8GB, how many players can I host and how well can it perform?

Given that the RPi is essentially a mobile phone chip, I'd say 5 users, maybe 7 max to play relatively trouble free. Any more and it'll get laggy.

Only the Pi 1 and 2 can be overclocked according to raspi-config.
