AM4 B550 vs X570 for 1 fast NVMe SSD, Ryzen 9 5900X, RTX 3080 and 3 SATA SSD?

I read some articles but can not decide if the B550 is better than the X570. The prices are very close. Which would you choose? I want to spend between 150$ and 350$.

Which exact boards, and what are you looking for in a motherboard?

I'm not sure what features I am looking for as I don't know what features are available.

I will for sure OC my CPU and GPU. I honestly also prefer quit builds (the X570 have cooling fans).

What other features are there?

As for models I read that Asus TUF Gaming Plus and MSI Tomahawk are the way to go.

A B550 board would probably be best then, especially since X570 boards' fans can die and make horrible noises.

I will push Asus, simply because I've used Asus things since ever.

I will also use Gen3 NVMe SSD, the Gen 4 is not worth it.

Main difference between B550 and X570 is that on B550, the lanes that are wired to the cpu are gen 4, while the lanes that are wired to the chipset are Gen 3, on X570, the lanes that are wired to both the chipset and to the cpu are Gen 4.

So unless you need the extra lanes on X570, you're not missing out by going with B550.

Location and currency? or is it US and USD?

If so, to name some boards:
