Antimalware Service Executable

So i am using a HP Laptop 14-cf2518na.          c06964456.pdf (hp.com)

and Antimalware Service Executable uses like 300mb Memory on average.

 

Now, i am far from a heavy usage of a PC, i only browse,play browser games, or watch a few movies.

So, if anyone can tell me how i can make this background process run less while i am using the Laptop perhaps?

 

Or possibly let me run it manually only,  all help much appreciated

I did method Fix #1: Change Windows Defender’s scheduling options, and guess what?  it's now at 100MB Memory usage

One question though, should The process Antimalware Service Executable  be running AT All? if i configured Task Scheduler to run once every sunday.
