So I know a little bit about changing setting in the bios for overclocking and can get it stable even playing high demanding games but seems to crash when I run a bench mark. I’m not sure if I got it setup correctly so here’s what I got

Asus ROG X570 Crosshair Viii hero

AMD Ryzen 9 3950x

EVGA XC Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Super

G.Skill Trident Z Neo 64gb 3600mhz

the biggest thing is I don’t know what to do with voltages other than leaving some things on auto or auto offsetting. I have it running at 4.4 MHz but can’t get it to run a benchmark without crashing.

Let me know if you guys want more info and specific settings I can send pictures of bios.

Watching lots of videos and reading lots of forum posts and tutorials is what is needed to start overclocking. You shouldn’t be trying to OC unless you fully understand via lots of research what is needed.

I'm going through the same OC learning curve myself. I could post, but running Cinebench 20 would shut down the program. (no bsod though). Changing the cpu multiplier and bclk can require cpu voltage adjustments. Same with changing the ram multiplier. This learning process has taken me the better part of a year now thru much research, small steps and trail and error.
