Problem with my Mic

Hey! I have a problem with my microphone. 

 

It works but does not recognice my voice. It recognices my dad's voice but not mine? Like what is going on?

 

The mic is: Trust 20111

 

Edit: I know it is crappy but still, want to make it to work.

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

in Sounds, try "listen to this device"

and look for the green bar when speaking, see if it's lit up

It is actually my friends mic, but no it wont lit up but it will lit up as I or my friend's dad speak.

is the mic directional? this is some next level spook right here

maybe an audiophile can explain it

it is directional but he has tested different directions. it ownt work with his voice

tried another pc to test if it's software issue or hardware issue?

maybe with your phone? (not sure if phone can take it as an input tho)

his phone mic works. tested with my pc, worked flawlessly, but wont work with his pc. strange

try disabling this "allow applications to take..."

@Moonzy Got it to work. But it is extremely quiet, can not hear my firend at all. His mic is at 100% form Discord and from Windows. I hear a lot os SSSSSSSSSS and his voice is mumbling in the backround
