Budget (including currency): As much as needed. Upgrading from i7 7700k and want a cpu that will last for 4+ years

Country: Sweden

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: OW, RDR2, SOTTR, new nvenc streaming

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I have 1080p 144hz but am thinking of getting 1080p 240hz or 1440p 165hz

 

Is this a good deal?
i9 9900k, corsair hydro H100x, asus strix z390, corsair 2x8gb ram at 3200 mhz cl 16

for 800 euros? a pc store is selling that upgrade bundle seems like I save 60 euros

 

Maybe ryzen is cheaper/better not sure.

 

5600x is about 330$ and 5800x is about 480$ I believe,

if you manage to find a 5800x, it will cost the same and will perform much better. A 5600x will also perform better and cost less.
