Sound issue

Avazush

Hi, I have weird issue that I need assist with.

I've got new motherboard and cpu after my 2700x died, currently using 3700x and gigabyte b550 gaming x v2.

The issue is with the sound, when I plug the speakers to the rear entry, I only ear sound from the right speaker, however, when the speakers plugged to the front entry I hear sound only from the left speaker.

Form the sound setting all seems to configured as needed and the balance is equal on both speaker L and R sides.

Any idea for what can be the issue here?

Make sure the front panel sound connector is connected correctly.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

I've disconnected the front panel sound, but still the same issue, when the cable plugged to the rear entry it only play sound from the left speaker.

ok all looks as it should. It would be very strange for the motherboard audio to be broken out of the box. Can you test your speakers by connecting them to other device and checking if they work appropriately?

Did it before opening this thread, the strange this was the fact that the rear entry sounded only in the left speaker and front panel entry sounded only the right speaker....

That is indeed very strange.
Are you using a headset connector maybe? (Most motherboards dont accept those and use only 3-pole version)

If not maybe the board is broken.
