Benchmark

patken007

Off the top of my head, I'd go with benchmarks where there's an abundance of data points so you can cross reference your scores with the averages of comparable setups. E.g. for CPU benchmarking Cinebench R20 and for GPU benchmarking 3DMark Timespy and/or Unigine Superposition.

What would be a excellent benchmark program for testing my new PC?

Depends what you're wanting to benchmark it for? To validate performance of the CPU Cinebench is ok and 3D mark is good for all round but it depends what you wanting the PC to do.

My PC is build mainly for 3 things.

1- gaming

2 - creativity (adobe premier Pro & lightroom)

3 - general work and streaming.

I've never usea benchmark before and I've just finished building that PC. So i juat want to see its performance in general area.

I really want a benchmark that can stress out my CPU, to see if my cooling is doing the job.
