Minecraft server

I want to build a minecraft server and I chose the 3400G for CPU. I was wondering if i don't have a graphics card, do I need integrated graphics to output a display signal?

If not, do you recommand me to go with the 3300x instead.

Well, you need some sort of graphics card to output graphics, otherwise it wouldn't really make a lot of sense. 

You can run servers headless though, in which case you don't even output to a display therefore don't need a GPU. 

 

I'm your case though I highly recommend the 3400G over the 3300x.

Assuming the board would boot with no GPU at all present, you can use remote access to the server to access it, however from my knowledge a GPU of somekind is needed to install the OS and boot the system, a 3400G would be fine for that.
