Do i still need the Commander Pro for the RGB on the Corsair Hydro X Series XD5 RGB?

Hello,

i heard that a new Version of the Corsair Hydro X Series XD5 RGB released and i wanna know since they added some kind of adapter for RGB for the Gen2 version if i still need the commander pro to light the rgb on the pump up,  because im not going to buy the commander pro.
