Graphics Artifacts

CryingWimp

Never had this issue before.

A few weeks ago I switched from a b350 to b550 board for my 3600. Roughly around the same time I started getting small amount of artifacts, its barely noticeable unless looking at solid color objects in games, like a wall.  I'm not sure if it started the same day, I never noticed.

I had an overclock running for a year now, but just at stock voltage and 25mhz lower than max stable frequency. Now, even maxing the voltage slider on MSI Afterburner +87mv doesnt help. It seems to be fine at stock settings but nothing higher.

Is it just coincidence it started roughly the same time and my card is dyeing? Can a motherboard affect GPU overclocks? Never seen a card affected by changing motherboard before.

Cheers

considering that you have overclocked it for a year now, higher chances that its just a coincidence. as we all know overclocking cuts the tail end of the product's life.
if I were you, ima leave it on stock since its just a mild OC

I thought I had heard that before, so I did a fresh install. Installed all my windows updates and drivers aswell.

Hmm. Tempting to try it back with the old board again, see if it keeps artifacting.
