Swapping PSUs

Ahhhhndy

I'm swapping out my TX550M which is only 2 months old for a TX750M. Do I need to replace all the modular cables used or can I keep them and just add another pcie cable for my gpu?

I would replace them all just in case - modular cables are proprietary affairs. Some people have killed their components by not swapping.

All of the modular cables on the TX-M Series are the same.

It's not like he's going from an EVGA to a Seasonic PSU, though.

Better safe than sorry!

I mean... that doesn't really work in this particular context.

All current-gen TXM units, down from the TX550M all the way up to the TX850M use the same cabling (Type 4) - it's not like there are cables keyed specifically to work only with say the TX850M, but not the TX650M or TX550M.

Corsair actually does have a page in which they mention specifically which cables work with which of their PSUs, here:

https://www.corsair.com/us/en/psu-cable-compatibility
