Recommendations for 27" 1440p Monitor

mishmish

Hello All,

I just wanted to ask about recommendations for a 27" 1440p monitor. Right now I have a 23" 1080p Dell ISP 60hz display, its been fine, just wanted to have some more screen space. 32" for me is just too big. Overall, care more about picture then I do fast refresh rates, although I suppose high refresh rate wouldnt hurt, but I dont see myself getting 144fps is any game, but would be nice to run titles in 1440p. I have a Ryzen 5 1400, RX 580 4gb, 16gb Ram. Any games played are pretty casual (Fally Guys, Planet Zoo, etc) Would like to stick around $250. I'm not into the curved monitors.

Here are the ones I've been considering:

LG 27QN600-B 27” QHD (2560 x 1440) IPS

Seems nice for the price, I dig it.

Dell S-Series 27-Inch Screen LED-Lit Gaming Monitor (S2719DGF)

Overall this is my pic, although the price is a little higher. I do like the height adjustments and all the ports it comes with, and own a Dell right now. I suppose what concerns me is that its a TN panel, and there seems to be some negative thoughts toward that. Any input? If I got this one, I think I'd have Best Buy price match it, but I dont like the 14 day return policy at BB.

Acer 27" Class WQHD FreeSync IPS Monitor

This one also appeals to me for the simplicity, would feel a little more conformable ordering from Costco, flexible return policy, but I also dont know much about the Acer brand and their monitors.

Generally speaking, I don't feel totally comfortable having a large item like this shipped, I live in an apartment complex, just seems like too big a purchase to have sitting at my door, but it may come to that.

I'd be open to any other recommendations. Thank you so much!

The LG one is great. I have the 1080p 144hz version of it and it's great. I'd recommend that one OFC but the acer one seems good too
