Hi. Need some advice please.

sgnorbert

Hello.

I.ve just bought a new monitor. I've been using a 1080p 144hz one and upgraded to 1440p 144hz (LG 27gl850). If I do any tasks like using chrome or photoshop theres no issues but if I start up any game visual glitches start to appear. I dont know if the new monitor is faulty or some settings are wrong. I'm using the 1080p monitor as extension on the side.

Tried changing settings in the games to turn off v-sync, turned g-sync on/off in nvidia control panel, put on frame cap (the lower it was the less glitching came up), also tried turning the other monitor off/turn off extension/switched up DP cables but nothing made the problem go away. Also if I switch to the old 1080p monitor theres no issues.

Any help would be greatly appriciated, thank you for your time.
