Hi! im trying to find a new video card for 1440p ultrawide gaming. Unfortunately I love demanding games like Red Dead Redemption 2, Witcher 3, Monster Hunter World, Final Fantasy, and definitely Cyberpunk when it comes out hopefully this year if its not delayed again. I currently have a GTX 1070, and to be honest never really considered upgrading until Red Dead came out and i was at an ABYSMAL 25-30 FPS! (Almost threw up) and after a couple of textures dropped I came at a 45-50 fps which is better but not good enough. I also have a Predator X34 if that changes anything and was definitely wanting a 3080 tbh so i wouldn't have to think about upgrading for a while, however the 10gb of vram is a concern, and kinda was thinking of going for the 6800 xt. I'm definetly patient enough to wait until summer of next year hopefully stock will be better by then, but just wondering if i should skip out on the gsync compatibility of my monitor for more vram. Just wanna get some second opinions on the matter here. Thanks!
